So you have the soup maker of your dreams and want to start making those delicious, healthy, filling and warming soups, but are not quite the accomplished cook with a mind full of recipes you would like to be. You need recipes and lots of them.
The great thing about making soup is that you can do it completely based on your own palette and taste preference. But, it makes sense to have something that will give you the basic information, the foundation for your soup that you can build upon. This is why it is a great idea to invest in one or two soup recipe books, especially designed with a soup maker in mind.
On this page therefore, we will be taking a look at what we believe are the three best soup maker recipe books on the market at the moment. The books we will be looking at are –
- The Soup-Maker Cookbook: Over 50 recipes for Soup Makers
- The Skinny Soup Maker Recipe Book: Delicious Low Calorie, Healthy and Simple Soup Machine Recipes Under 100, 200 and 300 Calories. Perfect For Any Diet and Weight Loss Plan.
- Soups: Simple and Easy Recipes for Soup-making Machines

Available as either a paperback or as a Kindle book, The Soup-Maker Cookbook is your indefensible guide to more than 50 different soup recipes that you can make using a soup blender or soup maker. The book is written in an extremely clear and easy to follow manner, but it never feels like you are being patronised. It contains mouthwatering gorgeous images and lots of hints and tips. Butter-nut Squash, Winter Vegetable and Pumpkin Soup and Pea and Ham Soup are just two of the classic recipes included in this great book For under a £6 you can’t say fairer than that!
Overall The Soup-Maker Cookbook has received reasonably positive reviews for the most part. It has only scored 3.9 out of 5 stars, but 143 out of 303 gave it full marks. One of the biggest complaints many of the negative reviews suggest is that the recipes are only designed to work with one specific soup maker. However, it is worth taking comments like this with a pinch of salt until you have established a larger picture. Many other customers have praised the book saying it was perfect for all kinds of soup makers.
The Skinny Soup Maker Recipe Book: Delicious Low Calorie, Healthy and Simple Soup Machine Recipes Under 100, 200 and 300 Calories. Perfect For Any Diet and Weight Loss Plan by Cook Nation

The Skinny Soup Maker Recipe Book does exactly what it says in the title and provides you with wide variety of soup recipes with the twist of being chosen because they are either under 300, 200 or 100 calories. The claim is that there will be recipes that suit virtually any weight loss plan and any diet and it is available for the Kindle and in paperback form.
This book scored a slightly better average rating of 4.3 out 5 stars. That is based in part on 252 out of the 409 people who submitted reviews giving it the full 5 stars. The interesting thing about this book is that the negative comments are more concerned with highlighting the fact that there is a lot of fancier recipes rather than just simple recipes. However, this is something that you may want to consider with your own personal preference in mind. Most of the other customers loved the book.
Soups: Simple and Easy Recipes for Soup-making Machines By Norma Miller

The last of the three books – Soups: Simple and Easy Recipes for Soup-making Machines by Norma Miller is another reasonably popular recipe book designed for soup maker and soup blender owners and is available on both Kindle and in paperback form.
Norma Miller’s aim with this book is abundantly clear – to compile a wide variety of easy to follow and quick to execute, but ultimately tasty soups.
377 people out of 713 gave this book a full 5 stars, but based on the rest of the reviews it score an average of 4.2 out of 5. Although this is not as high as perhaps the author would have liked, it still tells you it is a good book worth looking into further. The biggest complaint seems to be that it does not include an index. Other than that, the recipes seem to be of a high standard with accurate information and ingredient lists.
There are many other books available on the market, but we have highlighted these three because of the great value for money they provide. Although they might not all be to your liking or meet your needs, we hope this post has helped you find at least one recipe book to accompany your new purchase.
